Extremely rare complete set of 2 volumes, one of 500 copies only. Metropolitan Museum of Art - Egyptian Expedition 5/1 & 5/2. MMA, New York, 1930. First edition. Small folio, x & 70 pages, 70 + 7 plates. Volume I: Hardback green boards with brown leather to spine and opposite corners, two bumped board corners, edges of pages discoloured and frayed down side, 1 or 2 pieces of tape to areas in plate section, blank card stuck to inside front cover - ex-library and ex-library card wallet to inside back cover and ex-library stamp marks on top & side of edges of pages, some minor foxing - otherwise good. Vol. II: Original brown leather with boards, some slight spot foxing, slight tear to spine due to the fragility of the leather, inside in fine condition, unmarked. A very good set. Language: English.
