Rare. Sold at the British Museum by Longman and Co. and W. Pickering, London, 1851. First edition. 6 pages followed by 98 leaves of cuniform text. Elephant folio (54cm X 36cm) Re-backed hardcover with original beige paper covered boards and later green cloth spine, original printed title label with border patern on front, and presentation label from The Trustees of the British Museum to front paste-down. Ex-library with feintly inked shelf location to front paste-down, circular library rubber stamp and some leaves having an embossed library mark - no other library marks or features found elsewhere. A very nice copy in very good condition. Language: English. Relevant subjects: Mesopotamia.
