Very rare. Printed for Sir Richard Phillips & Co., London, 1822. First edition. In-8, xii pages, map (numbered as plate 18), 72 pages. Plates are inserted in the text without logical order, as issued. In order of pages: plates 2 & 5 after page 40, plate 3 and an unnumbered plate after page 42, map numbered as plate 4 after page 48, plates 8 & 9 & 10 & 11 after page 58, an unnumbered plate (detached, but intact) and plates 13 & 15 & 16 & 12 after page 60, plate 17 after page 62, plates 1 & 7 after page 64. So a total of 18 plates, where presumably the unnumbered plates are the missing 6 & 14. No cover, protected by a modern wrapper. Inside in excellent condition, a fine copy. (FHB) Language: English.
