Extremely rare. Plates volume only (without the text volume of 49 pages). Fouilles de Delphes 4. E. de Boccard, Paris, 1927. First edition. Folio, 87 plates. The antique portfolio has printed paper covered boards and a blue cloth backstrip. The exterior shows moderate rubbing, fraying, and soiling. There are cloth ties at the edges. The pages and plates show mild to moderate age toning, mostly in the margins. This work contains 87 loose plates (4 in color, 83 in heliogravure), despite the fact that 81 plates are mentioned on the title page. Language: French. Relevant subjects: Greece & Aegean.
